This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.lou-jewel.com (the ‘Site’).

We generally use the Order Information we collect to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, organising shipping and sending invoices and/or order confirmations). In addition, we use this order information to:

- if it matches the preferences you have shared with us, to send you information or advertising about our products or services.

- Product suppliers and third-party warehouses receive information about the content of the order and the buyer's delivery address: this information is necessary for us to organise shipping.

- Several suppliers work with the shop and each order may be processed by a completely different company.

- If you want to know which supplier/warehouse has received the current buyer's information.

We use the device information we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular your IP address) and more generally to improve and optimise our website (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the website and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

By using our website, you (visitor) consent to third parties processing your IP address to determine your location for currency conversion purposes. You also consent to this currency being stored in your browser's session cookie (a temporary cookie that is automatically removed when you close your browser). We do this so that the chosen currency remains selected and consistent when browsing our website and prices can be converted to your (the visitor's) local currency.

SMS marketing and notifications
When you enter your phone number at checkout and make a purchase, place an order via our order form or keyword, you consent to us sending you SMS notifications (for your order, including cancelled order reminders) and SMS marketing offers. Up to 6 messages may be sent per month. You acknowledge that your consent is not a condition of purchase.

If you wish to stop receiving marketing and notifications via SMS, you may reply STOP to any mobile message we send or use the unsubscribe link included in each of our messages. You understand and agree that alternative methods of unsubscribing, such as using other words or prompts, are not considered an appropriate means of unsubscribing.
